Museum of Imam Shamil opened in Kaluga

Memorial room – museum of Imam of Daghestan and Chechnya – the legendary Imam Shamil, was opened in an official ceremony in Kaluga today, REGNUM news agency reports. The event was attended by many guests from Makhachkala, Kaluga, as well as representatives of Dagestani diaspora in Moscow.

Majlis commemorating the birth of Imam Shamil, Shaykh of Naqshbandi tariqa and leader of Dagestani and Chechen Muslims was held in Dagestani city South Sukhokumsk.
The gathering was attended by famous Islamic figures: Khizri-haji - Imam of Kizlyar district village Krasnooktyabrsk, Mavlidin-haji - Imam of Stavropol district village Chernoleskoe, Muhammad-haji – Imam of Tarumovski district village Novoromanovsk.

There is a hadith which says that worthy people can be appreciated only by worthy ones. They say, when we mention pious people Allah grants us His blessings. So, hoping for Allah’s blessings, we are going to say few words about Imam Shamil.
